HCG Recipes Make a Difference

When you’re dealing with a very low calorie diet (VLCD) like the HCG program, you don’t really get to eat very much. But the eating that you do get to do is very regimented and limited to very specific food groups. So it’s really, really important that you have a few good recipes to keep things at least a little bit interesting.
You can start by sprucing up your basic beverage. You need to drink a LOT of water. Try changing up this most basic of basics with the Stevia drops recommended to go along with the diet. Use your favorite flavor to create flavored water. You’ll be surprised how refreshing it can be.
The HCG diet stipulates two servings of fruit per day. Depending upon the dieter the fruit can either be incorporated at lunch/dinner or as a mid-afternoon snack and after dinner snack. A popular choice is apples. Try this yummy variation to provide yourself a bit of a different, fun option next time you’re feeling fed up with your choices.

And for the main dish…try No Pasta Spaghetti Sauce. Grill your lean meat (any variety…it works best chicken or beef). Get a couple tomatoes and put them in a saute pan on medium and cook for about 5 minutes. Throughout the 5 minutes take the back of a spoon and smash the tomatoes randomly. When they’ve been cooking and being smashed for about 5 minutes the tomatoes should resemble a really thick spaghetti sauce. Go ahead and add the meat and then throw in some spices. We like to add garlic salt, onion salt, and some Italian seasonings (about 1/4 tsp of each).
Incorporating interesting meals and snacks into the HCG diet is necessary in order to give you the best chance of successfully completing the diet. Don’t deprive yourself of taste; use the seasonings that are at your disposal and keep it fun and interesting by trying different recipes. Other people start by getting rid of their gas guzzlers and purchasing a hybrid to reduce their dependence on gasoline. This is really big right now and there are even government reward programs for those purchasing these vehicles in the near future.
If solar power is something that you really want to invest in, now is the time to start looking into the cost for your home and saving up. The sun is our greatest renewable energy source and the ability to light and heat your home with its power is simply amazing.
If you can’t afford to jump right in and bring your entire lifestyle into line with eco living principles that is no reason to sit back and do nothing at all. No one can afford to go all the way right away, so just commit today to your first small step. Even if you just change your light bulbs to a more energy conservative variety, it’s a big start to your future.

This article is written in the spirit of informing those who may want to know about the long term effects upon the body for those that use MMS consistently. We all know that this supplement will quite often induce nausea, but many of us would be surprised to know that inflammation is produced as well. Inflammation in the short term increases blood flow to tissues in need, thus delivering extra nutritional support for healing to occur within damaged tissues and organs. This is fine and even necessary over the short period, but if the immune response is below what is required to remove invading microbes and diseased tissue, then this inflammation response becomes long lasting and thus damaging to the body. Inflammation has been found to be the driving mechanism behind many of today’s chronic diseases.

When substances oxidize within the body, this generally produces a strong immune response, which is why inflammation is often prevalent and actually necessary during times of healing. The ingestion of these additional anti oxidants should be taken apart from MMS, as if they are consumed too close together, then neutralization will take place. For example, if you use MMS before breakfast and just before bedtime - then antioxidants should be taken towards the middle of the day.
This applies to antioxidants in the form of supplements, such as vitamin E, C and also B complex, grape seed extract, and coenzyme Q10. Foods that are rich in antioxidants such as berries, turmeric, polyunsaturated oils, Green tee, and fresh fruit are also best taken and consumed apart from MMS. As ascorbic acid is such a powerful supplement for the protection of oxidant sensitive structures such as the brain, eyes and heart. When consuming vitamin C, make sure to consume it at least 1 - 2 hours either side of the MMS protocol, as upon contact with the chlorine dioxide molecule, neutralization will take effect.
Expanding upon what is said in the paragraph above, if for some reason an individual has overdosed on sodium chlorite, a large volume of clean potable water mixed with ascorbic acid should be consumed over the period of 2 hours, as this is the most effective way in which to neutralize the chlorine dioxide compound. If further measures are required to bring about relief, then it may be wise to induce vomiting to expel what may be left within the stomach.
As with anything, too much MMS is not a good thing — yes, including this miracle mineral supplement. So be careful and remember that health is a many-layered consideration. High Blood Pressure

We all know someone with high blood pressure (HBP), possibly a beloved family member or a lifelong friend. This common problem affects one in four American adults.1 An alarming 75% of patients with type 2 diabetes also have HBP.2
High blood pressure is particularly dangerous because, for the most part, there aren’t any symptoms until severe damage occurs. Heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, atherosclerosis, and eye disease are some of the serious problems that may result from untreated HBP.

Frequent exercise is an important part of all lifestyle programs targeted toward lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke.3,4 Regular exercise makes your heart stronger, and a stronger heart pumps blood more easily and efficiently. Over time, regular exercise may reduce blood pressure levels by an average of 10mm.
Meditation is another key reducer of blood pressure levels.5 Much more than a New Age fad, meditation has consistently demonstrated benefits related to several health issues. Meditation is easy to do. All you need is a comfortable chair or cushion that allows you to sit in a straight posture without any tension. There’s no special breathing to do and you don’t have to do any chanting.
To meditate, sit facing a blank wall (if possible) and let your hands relax in your lap. Tilt your head slightly downward, and let your eyes achieve a soft focus at that slightly downward angle. Breathe easily and gently. Breathe in and visualize energy going up your spine in the back. Breathe out and visualize the energy going down your spine in the front. Silently say “one”. Continue up to “ten” cycles, and begin again at “one”. That’s it!
How long should you do this? This is completely up to you. Start with five minutes twice a day, and gradually build up to 20 minutes twice a day. You’ll probably notice you’re feeling much more at ease, more relaxed, with more energy during the day than before you started meditating. The benefits are powerful, and again, there is a profound effect on high blood pressure.
